To avoid the TPM 2.0 requirements while installing Windows 11, please follow these steps:
- Install Windows 11 via an ISO or the Windows 11 Insider Program. If your computer does not fulfill the hardware requirements, you will receive the notice “This PC can’t run Windows 11.”
- When you see the notice above, click Shift+F10 on your keyboard simultaneously to open a command prompt. To open the Windows Registry Editor, type regedit at the command prompt and hit enter.
- When the Registry Editor opens, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup, right-click on the Setup key, and then choose New > Key.
- When prompted to name the key, type LabConfig and hit Enter.
- Now, right-click the LabConfig key and choose New > DWORD (32-bit) value. Create a value called BypassTPMCheck and set its data to 1.
- Now set the BypassRAMCheck and BypassSecureBootCheck values to 1 as well.
- Once you’ve configured those three values under the LabConfig entry, close the Registry Editor and close the window by typing exit in the Command Prompt and pressing enter.
- You will now be back at the screen claiming that the PC is unable to run Windows 11.
- In the Windows Setup dialog box, click the Back button.
- You will now be returned to the screen where you can select the version of Windows 11 you want to install. You can now proceed with the setup, and the hardware requirements will be waived, allowing you to install Windows 11.
